The Toronto Blue Jays will chase a franchise record when they wrap up their road series Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox.

Toronto will send left-handed pitcher Eric Lauer to the mound Wednesday.

Lauer (4-1, 2.65 ERA) threw a season-high six innings during his most recent outing last Friday against the Los Angeles Angels. The 30-year-old allowed two runs on three hits with one walk and six strikeouts, but settled for a no-decision as the Blue Jays walked off the Angels 4-3 in the 10th inning.

Chicago (30-62) will counter with Adrian Houser on the hill. The righty holds a 4-2 record and 1.60 ERA in eight starts this season.
